Founded in 2009 by master technician James Kollie, Top Gear International Garage was born from a passion for cars and a frustration with the lack of quality automotive services available in Liberia. James returned from years of training abroad with one mission: to build a world-class workshop right here at home.
What started as a small diagnostic and repair shop in Hotel Africa Community has grown into Liberia's most trusted automotive centre — offering everything from routine maintenance to full performance builds, body restoration, and advanced electrical diagnostics.
Today, our team of 12 certified technicians serves car enthusiasts, daily drivers, and fleet operators across Liberia and the wider West African region. Every vehicle that enters our workshop receives the same meticulous care and international-grade expertise.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience and training in Germany and South Korea, James founded Top Gear to bring world-class automotive expertise to Liberia.
Emmanuel Togba
Emmanuel leads all ECU tuning and performance build projects. His precision approach and deep knowledge of engine management systems has earned him a reputation across West Africa.
Fatou Kamara
Fatou specializes in modern automotive electronics and diagnostics. She manages all complex electrical fault-finding and ADAS calibration work.
